My Story
My journey with fitness hasn’t been perfect — and that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping others.
I’ve been in addiction recovery since 2016. Before that, my life took me through some very dark places. I’ve experienced homelessness, spent time in jail, and had to rebuild my life from the ground up.
Recovery gave me a second chance, but it also came with new challenges.
For a while, I replaced drugs with food. I gained a lot of weight and felt disconnected from my body. Even though fitness had always been a part of my life, I had to learn how to care for myself again in a healthy way.
Finding My Way Back
After a difficult breakup, I moved back to my hometown and started rebuilding my life one small step at a time.
One of those steps was simple — walking with my dad.
Those walks slowly turned into something more. I started taking fitness seriously again, learning how to move my body, build strength, and develop healthier habits. I became interested in becoming a personal trainer and decided to take classes through NASM.
Over time, the weight came off, but more importantly, I started to reconnect with myself.
Where I Am Today
Today, fitness is a consistent part of my life. I train about four days a week with my partner, and exercise has become one of the most important tools I have for maintaining my mental and physical health.
I may not have the six-pack abs I once thought I needed to feel confident, but I’ve learned something more important — how to appreciate and take care of the body I have.
Fitness helped me rebuild my life, my confidence, and my sense of self.
Why I Coach
I became a personal trainer because I know what it feels like to start over.
Whether you’re struggling with motivation, rebuilding after a hard time, or just trying to learn how to take care of yourself again, I want to help people discover that change is possible.
Fitness isn’t about perfection.
It’s about learning to show up for yourself, one day at a time.
